16 years ago on Christmas Eve, my husband (who was then my new boyfriend of a day) and I decided to make edibles for the annual Christmas Eve party at his sister's house. Armed with everything we needed, we continued to make meatballs for the occasion. My love for edibles had begun.
We made this a Christmas tradition, learning more as we went along. I took a keen interest in the science behind it and was always fascinated that it just seems to "hit" differently.
I am co-author to two cookbooks - with our first being a best-seller - so making tasty edibles was always a foregone conclusion, but doing what the package says was something I needed to do. Consistency is very important, so every measure of care is put into the food I make. Everything meticulously measured out, be it raw cookie dough, ingredients for the edibles, and even the temperature at which it is cooked to always maintain and preserve the quality you're getting.
